• Identity Verification (KYC): Government-issued ID proofs and photos uploaded by you to verify legal ownership.
• Device Information: Device model, brand, and IMEI/Serial Number provided via manual entry or scan.
• Financial Data: Details related to transaction fees (₹25) processed via Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
• Technical Data: IP address, device identifiers, and crash logs for app performance and security monitoring.

Note on Location Data: GARDMEI does not collect, monitor, or track your precise or approximate location.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA (NON-TRACKING DISCLOSURE)

We use your data strictly for functional purposes. We do not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising. The data is used to:

• Verify device ownership and facilitate legal transfer documentation.
• Process service fees for physical device inspection and handover facilitation.
• Prevent fraud and maintain a secure "device authority" database.
• Manage your account and subscription status (purchased via our website).

3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your personal data. Sharing occurs only in the following contexts:

• Between Users: During an "Ownership Transfer," your name and verification status are shared with the transacting party to complete legal records.
• Payment Processors: We use Razorpay for secure payment of physical service fees.
• Legal Necessity: If required by Indian law (e.g., Information Technology Act) or valid court orders regarding stolen property.

4. DATA SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security protocols:

• Encryption: Sensitive data is protected using RSA-AES hybrid encryption and transmitted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Integrity: We use HMAC signatures to prevent data tampering during transit.
• Access Control: Access to your KYC documents is strictly restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. YOUR RIGHTS AND APPLE COMPLIANCE

• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): GARDMEI does not engage in "Tracking" as defined by Apple. We do not link your data with third-party data for marketing; therefore, we do not request ATT permission.
• Multi-Platform Services: In compliance with Apple’s guidelines for multi-platform apps, subscriptions purchased on our website (www.gardmei.com) are accessible within the app.
• Right to Erasure: You may request to delete your account. Note that certain transaction records may be retained for legal compliance and anti-fraud purposes.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as required by Indian law to resolve potential future ownership disputes regarding registered devices.
